We’re thrilled to announce a new member of our executive team. Raymond Pustinger has become Ally’s new CEO.
Ray is no stranger to the Ally team. In fact, his professional collaboration with Ally founders Shawn Rash, Troy Moran, and Brian Walterbach dates back to 2002, when as a supply partner, Ray began supporting project development for Shawn’s firm, a predecessor to Ally Energy.
As CEO, Ray will be focused on our strategic, financial and operational infrastructure as we ramp up to meet the growing demand for our services.
Ray has quite a bit of experience both managing and driving growth for energy companies. From 2001 to 2010, Ray was CEO of energy-efficient lighting manufacturer Precision-Paragon [P2]. Under his leadership, the company grew from a regional specialty lighting manufacturer to a complete luminaire OEM providing LED, Induction and Linear Fluorescent products to energy solutions providers nationwide.
Since that time he’s led an HVAC optimization software development company through a successful product commercialization effort. More recently, he led a national utility consultancy through a successful diversification initiative, helping the firm capitalize on their transportation electrification, grid intelligence and software development competencies.
As Ally President and Founding Shareholder, Shawn Rash said, Ray’s move from supply partner to strategic advisor to Ally CEO has been a logical transition.
“As a supply partner Ray helped us establish a project development model that is the foundation of the system we use today. As Ray’s career evolved to include significant time in the utility and building intelligence communities, we’ve benefitted from the experience and peer network he’s developed. It’s been a natural evolution from strategic advisor to CEO, and we’re thrilled to have his leadership and experience on the Ally team.”
Ray’s excited about the potential he sees for Ally.
“The Ally team has developed a tremendous reputation delivering comprehensive solutions in the challenging industrial facilities space. We have the energy engineering, financial engineering and execution capabilities that these complex facilities are hungry for. I’m honored to have the opportunity to lead a company with the character, creativity and drive needed to deliver the next generation of energy solutions to our clients.”
Welcome to the Ally team Ray. We’re excited to have you.
