20 Location Lighting Overhaul

 The Goal

The client—a major uniform cleaning company— was looking for new opportunities to reduce their environmental impact, as ESG priorities are central to their business operations. As part of their LED lighting initiative, they wanted to make environmental improvements to increase productivity without adding capital costs.

The Proposal

In each facility, uniforms are hung on a rail and traverse throughout the plant. Much of the existing lighting was strategically placed around the uniforms to get the lighting to the ground. Ally Energy Solutions suggested retrofitting 20 facilities with all new LED lighting to reduce operating expenses, improve light levels across the facility, and meet ESG goals.

The Solution

The existing high bay 6-lamp T8 fluorescent fixtures were replaced with new LED high bays equipped with integrated occupancy sensors, which turn the fixtures off when the areas are unoccupied. Office lighting, 2×4 fluorescent troffer fixtures, were replaced with new, high-efficiency LED retrofits.
